Interview 1: Q: Today, I’m going to ask you questions
regarding scooter helmets. Is that ok?
A: Yes.
Q: If you were to buy a scooter helmet, what quality would
you most look for in the product?
A: Safety and pricing
Q: Would you look into the style of the helmet at all?
A: I would most look at the color, I would probably just buy
one that’s plain and dark.
Q: If you were to see some scooter helmets designed like
motorcycle helmets, would you be in favor of purchasing one?
A: If the safety features and pricing are the same, if not
better, then yes I would consider buying a new design helmet.
Interview 2: Q: Today, I’m going to ask you questions

A: Yup.
Q: If you were to buy a scooter helmet, what quality would
you most look for in the product?
A: Pricing
Q: Would you look into the style of the helmet at all?
A: Not really, I am truly not too interested in buying a
scooter helmet so I would just look to buy one at a low price.
Q: If you were to see some scooter helmets designed like
motorcycle helmets, would you be in favor of purchasing one?
A: If it is the same price and looks cooler than the other
helmets, then I would buy one yes.
Interview 3: Q: Today,
I’m going to ask you questions regarding scooter helmets. Is that ok?
A: Ok.
Q: If you were to buy a scooter helmet, what quality would
you most look for in the product?
A: The style and color of the helmet.
Q: Would you look into the price of the helmet at all?
A: Yes, but from what I have seen they run at pretty
standard prices in the Gainesville area.
Q: If you were to see some scooter helmets designed like
motorcycle helmets, would you be in favor of purchasing one?
A: Yes, that is a cooler style helmet design and would be
something to look into.
Report findings: Based off of my research,
I realized people look for a variety of things when buying a scooter helmet.
Some individuals will only strictly care about price, while others will look
into style and safety features of the helmet. All three interviewees stated
that they would buy my helmet at the same price as the other available options.
Conclusions: The most important aspect of the scooter helmet
is the price. If I can successfully create my design and keep good safety
features, then I am sure it will have a large client base to draw interest in
the product.

ReplyDeleteMost of the people you interviewed focused on the price and the style of the helmet. Safety is the most important and I feel like not many people mentioned that. Your conclusion is great because if you can find a happy medium by creating your own design with good safety features at a reasonable price this could definitely be a hit. Good job!
Hey Ryan, I agree with the people you interviewed. Helmet's run for the same amount of prices in Gainesville but it's color that matters the most to people in this scenario and safety of helmet despite from how it looks when you are wearing. Price does matter to college students but it's not an issue because they all run for the same prices. Good job.
